United States reports 38,072 new coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours
480 people have died from coronavirus in the past 24 hours, rising the United States’ death toll from the virus to 199,148, according to Johns Hopkins University.

The U.S. has the highest death toll from coronavirus in the world, followed by Brazil with 132,117 deaths, India with 81,039 deaths and Mexico with 71,049 deaths.
6,751,113 people have until now tested positive for coronavirus in the country, an increase of 44,507 new cases in the past 24 hours.
Until now, at least 4,028,794 patients suffering from the pandemic have recovered and been discharged from hospital in the country.
At least 92,909,985 tests have been carried out to detect coronavirus infections in the country.
New York, which is being hit the hardest by the novel coronavirus in the U.S, has so far reported more than 478,379 confirmed cases, with at least 33,128 deaths.
According to Worldometer, a reference website that provides counters and real-time statistics for diverse topics, coronavirus pandemic has so far claimed the lives of at least 933,939 people across the world. (ILKHA)
