Lebanon’s Foreign Minister tests positive for COVID-19
Lebanese Foreign Minister Charbel Wehbe has tested positive for coronavirus, the Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.

He has been placed under a two-week quarantine regime, the statement said.
Wehbe was appointed on August 3 as the foreign minister following the resignation of Nassif Hitti. He previously served as the diplomatic adviser of Lebanese President Michel Aoun.
Lebanon has so far reported 21,324 confirmed coronavirus cases, with 207 deaths and 6,722 recoveries. (ILKHA)
