Turkey sends medical supplies to Niger
Turkey has sent medical supplies to Niger, the country’s Defense Ministry announced in a statement on Thursday.
“A Turkish Armed Forces aircraft, carrying the medical supplies, prepared at the direction of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, by the Health Ministry for use against the coronavirus pandemic outbreak, took off from Ankara Etimesgut Airbase for Niger,” the statement said.
During the pandemic, Turkey provided medical aid to many countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Spain and Italy, to assist in fighting the coronavirus. This help includes face masks, protective overalls, test kits and sanitizer gels. (ILKHA)
