Coronavirus in the United States: Daily death toll drops to 704
At least 704 people have died from coronavirus in the past 24 hours, rising the United States death toll from the virus to 106,925, according to Johns Hopkins University.

1,859,323 people have until now tested positive for coronavirus in the country, an increase of 22,153 new cases in the past 24 hours.
Until now, about 615,416 patients suffering from the pandemic have recovered and been discharged from hospital in the country.
At least 18,150,053 tests have been carried out to detect coronavirus infections in the country.
The U.S. has the highest death toll from coronavirus in the world, followed by the United Kingdom with 39,045 deaths, Italy with 33,475 deaths and Brazil with 30,046 deaths.
New York, which is being hit the hardest by the novel coronavirus in the U.S, has so far reported more than 380,825 confirmed cases, with at least 29,988 deaths.
According to Worldometer, a reference website that provides counters and real-time statistics for diverse topics, coronavirus pandemic has so far claimed the lives of at least 378,291 people across the world. (ILKHA)
