WHO: USA could become the new center of the coronavirus pandemic
Europe is still the center of the pandemic, but there had been a very large acceleration in cases in the US, the WHO spokeswoman Margaret Harris said at in news conference in Geneva on Tuesday.

“We are now seeing a very large acceleration in cases in the US. Therefore, it does have that potential to become the center of the coronavirus pandemic,” she said.
In the USA, 46,450 cases have been confirmed with coronavirus and there have been 593 deaths, according to the latest data from Johns Hopkins University.
The U.S. has the second-most active cases in the world after Italy. (ILKHA)
