Soleimani's assassination is an act of international terrorism: African National Congress
South Africa's ruling party, the African National Congress (ANC), described the killing of Qasem Soleimani by the United States as an act of international terrorism.
It said in a statement that this inhuman incident was an attack on Iran's sovereignty and had the potential to lead the region and the world into war.
Asking the parties to give peace a chance, it said: "We call on all the nations of the world to act harshly and expeditiously through the United Nations against this act of international terrorism." (ILKHA)
