No reconciliation in Sudan negotiations
The reconciliation between the Sudan Military Transition Council and the dissidents was still unfulfilled.
There was no reconciliation in the ongoing negotiations for the political transition agreement between the Sudan Military Transition Council and Freedom and Change Declaration Powers.
The Military Transit Council and the Freedom and Change Declaration Powers agreed on a three-year transition period before the elections.
However, there was a stalemate in the proportion of the military and civilian participation to the Provisional Authority.
Sudan Association of Professional Chambers (SPA), which led the protests against former President Omar al-Bashir and chaired the Freedom and Change Declaration Powers, accused the Military Transitional Council of suspending the negotiations and conducting tactics.
Since Thursday, May 23, the SPA has called for civil disobedience and general strike across the country. (ILKHA)
