Flood in Şırnak kills 2
At least 2 people died in a car flooded that occurred after a downpour in Şırnak, SE of Turkiye.

According to the information, a car was flooded in the Konak neighborhood due to the torrential rainfall that was effective in the city.
The driver Hüseyin Avni Yavuz, who newly appointed as an imam to the city, and his daughter, were able to get out of the vehicle with their own means while Yavuz's mother Emine and his wife Gül Nazlı, were dragged along with the vehicle.
Search and rescue teams have found the lifeless bodies of the two after the search conducted following an emergency call.
On the other hand, sewage pipes exploded in the neighborhoods of Cudi, Nur, Konak and Şah due to the rainfall that lasted for hours, and dozens of houses were flooded.
While property damage was caused in the homes in these neighborhoods, many citizens could not enter their homes due to water. (ILKHA)
