The protests of the "Yellow Vests", which started on November 17, as a reaction to fuel hike in France and the deterioration of economic conditions, but later turned into anger towards the Macron administration, became the most violent protest of recent years in France.

In spite of all the calls of the government in France, the security forces were again alarmed nationwide before the protests that the "yellow vest" refused to halt their demonstrations.

Paris Chief of Police Michel Delpuech has announced that around 8,000 police are deployed for the demonstrations that are expected to be held for the fifth time in the capital on Saturday.

Demonstrators, who often settle in rural areas due to high rents in city centers, demand the improvement of economic conditions from Macron's government.

Until now, 4,099 people were detained and more than a thousand people were injured.

Macron has announced Monday that they will raise the minimum wage EUR100 per month by 2019 without bringing additional cost burden to the companies.

Macron said that the employers, who had the opportunity to pay premiums to their employees at the end of the year and there will be no cut for the retirement pensions under EUR2000.
