Calling authorities the local people ask for no new deaths
Local people in Turkiye's Ağrı reacted to authorities indicating that no measures were taken after a little girl received an electric shock from leakage of electricity in an electric pole and lost her life.
A little girl named Medine Polat lost her life due to receiving an electric shock from the leakage of electric while she was passing near an electric pole in Ağrı in Yüzüncüyıl neighborhood. 2 days passed after the incident, local people reacted to authorities indicating that no measures were taken so far.
Noting that the authorities did not take a step in spite of all the applications they had made for about 5 months, the Yüzüncüyıl neighborhood residents expressed that they did not want a new disaster, indicating that the 7-year-old Medina lost her life by receiving electric shock on the electricity pole at 02.30 on Monday, October 2nd.
In other words, the local people wanted their victimhood to be seen which they have wrapped the pole with nylons.
The neighborhood, which indicates that there is primary school on the back side of the pole, expresses that hundreds of children use this route every day.
Neighborhood residents which reached to Ilke News Agency's WhatsApp number, addressed to Ağrı Governor, the Prime Minister, and the President, saying that no one is interested in their problems. (ILKHA)
