Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdağ condemned the massacre of Buddhist savagery in Myanmar by his official twitter account.

Bozdağ stated that many people lost their lives and wounded as a result of the events that started in Myanmar, north of Rakhine state on August 25, 2017; Condolences and patience to relatives of those who lost their lives and wishes emergency healing for wounded people.

“The UN and the UNSC should immediately stop those who commit this massacre”

“We strongly condemn the massacre that resembles the genocide in Myanmar,” said Bozdağ, explaining: “We strongly condemn the massacre that resembles the genocide in Myanmar, and we are deeply saddened and worried about the increasing violence, deaths, and casualties. We stress once again that violence in Rakhine state cannot solve the problems through violence. The United Nations (UN), the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and the international community should not remain silent on these genocide-like massacres. If humanity is not dead, now is the time to show that humanity is alive. UN and UNSC should immediately stop those who commit this massacre.”

“The UN and the UNSC should show that they no longer only count dead and wounded by blocking the genocide-like massacre in Myanmar,” Bozdağ said and added that, “Otherwise that the UN and the UNSC would not have done their duty and would not be able to escape the responsibility of the deaths and injuries in Myanmar.”

Bozdağ noted that Turkiye will continue to say, defend and be beside opponent in Myanmar as it is all over the world. (ILKHA)
