In the US state of Mississippi, the death toll of a military transport plane is said to have risen 16 people.

According to information, a C-130 military transport plane in Mississippi's Delta region crashed in 135 kilometers north of Jackson.

Upon notification, a large number of firefighters and search and rescue teams were sent to scene. Commenting on the accident, Leflore Sheriff Ricky Banks stated that the military transport plane crashed at 135 kilometers north of Jackson in the Delta region and that everyone inside was dead. Banks said that they have reached 12 bodies so far and that search efforts continue for other 4 people.

It was seen that many of the drivers who did not use the road near the area where the war plane was crashed parked on the roadside, watching the intervention of the teams.

On the other hand, no formal statement has yet been made by state authorities on flights and accidents so far.
