Molla Enver Kılıçarslan, the Chairman of the Union of Scholars and the Madrassas, made statement on the night of Miraj, mentioned the significance of the prayer that became a religious duty to Muslims in this blessed night.

Kılıçarslan had reminded that Allah created people to serve Him, emphasized that the first servitude is the prayer.

Kılıçarslan, saying that prayer is a requirement for all Muslims, told the views of some sects about non-prayers. Kılıçarslan said, “Majority disclosure of Islamic scholars said it was lawful for the murder of those who do not pray. According to Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal, those who do not perform salaat are abandon the religion and become unbelievers. Also some hadiths indicate in this direction. According to Imam Shafi'i, and Maliki, those who do not perform salaat must be murdered. According to Imam Hanafi, it is stated that those who do not pray should be imprisoned.”

“The bond between Alllah and man is praying”

Kılıçarslan records that the closest time to Allah is during the man in sacdah, “People must pray for Allah to show them their blessings. The bond between Allah and man is praying. Allah have made salaat religious duty for humankind to show Him their submission. Salaat is the Miraj of Muslim. Allah have made salaat five times a day as a religious duty for His Prophet and for Muslims on the night of Miraj. So whoever does not perform sajdah to Allah, we cannot make him friend, or leader. Even Imam Hanafi said ‘whoever marries his daughter with someone who does not pray, it is better for him to throw the daughter into fire.”

Kılıçarslan underlined that the most virtuous of prayer is the prayer performed in the mosque, he told the importance given by the ayah and hadiths.

“We need to dwell on salaat and prayer and knowing Allah”

Kılıçarslan emphasized that the greatest benefit of Muslims is to turn the direction of the nation, of the children and of the young people towards Allah, the Prophet and the Qur'an, and he said: “If we remove our nationality, our children away from Allah, from the Prophet, if we direct them to the nafs, to the evil, and to disbelievers, if we do this hostility to our nation, to our children, to our relatives, then we betray them. Those who do not perform prayers are traitor accordance to Islam and the ummah. That’s why we need to dwell on Allah, worship and prayer.”

“Jews are the cause of unrest and mischief in Islamic geography”

Molla Enver Kılıçarslan reacted to Israel's adhan ban, stated that the adhan is a sign of Islam and said, “When Prophet Muhammad and companions went to a region they would not fight with them if there was adhan voice but they would fight with them when they did not hear the adhan voice. In the Qur'an, Allah says that the Jews will do the greatest hostility with Islam and its supporters. Allah have cursed the Jews in 15 ayah in the Qur'an. They tried to disrupt the Qur'an and they did not succeed, now they try to ban adhan, they kill Muslim’s children and women. If they have opportunity, they will not leave a single Muslim on earth. Jews are the cause of unrest and mischief in the whole Islamic world and in the Middle East.”

“If they have opportunity, they will not ban only adhan but ban all Islamic signs”

Kılıçarslan added that the jews will not remain only to ban adhan but destroy Jerusalem, and said, “They want to remove all Muslims from Jerusalem. Cause of jews is to establish a state in Jerusalem and make people in Middle East to their slaves, even make all of people in the world their slaves. If they get opportunity, not only ban of adhan but they will ban salaat, fasting and all the Islamic signs. Islamic ummah must come together against jews. Jews and Christians are the reason for this unrest among the Islamic ummah. Since Islam is on the earth, adhan will be on the earth. (M.Fatih Akgül - ILKHA)
