Religious Affairs President Mehmet Görmez, who published a message on Miraj Night, said that “Establishment of confidence, peace, security and liberty in the Islamic geography where war and persecution are taking place, will be possible if Muslims adopt the values of miracles.”

Director of Religious Affairs, Görmez published a message related to Miraj Night. Reminded that the night on 23rd April Sunday to Sunday Miraj Night will be performed, Görmez wished that the night to strengthen the faith in the hearts and the secure in the lands. He congratulated the night of Miraj to the nation, the ummah and the humanity world, and all believers.

Saying that the Night of Miraj; was a solacement for Prophet Muhammad while he was passing through days full of sadness and sorrow. He said that Muhammad was accepted in the presence of Allah and added, “Miraj; is the journey of our beloved Prophet from Masjid al-Haram to Masjid al-Aqsa with the permission of Allah and to see the ayah of eternal power from there. Miraj is the defense of the sacred ties between Mecca and Jerusalem, is the name of approaching to Allah at every step. Miraj is a struggle to glorify, to reach realm of meaning by moving away from matter, to turn from slyness to divine.”

“The deep meaning of the Miraj should be remembered again in the present day when mankind has lost faith, compassion, love, loss of trust, lost self and identity, and in the day when he suffocated in the vortex of interest and enmity. The believer must be aware that the only way of glorification is to become a slave to Allah, and that he will not be able to reach ultimate union if he sacrifice his beliefs and virtues for the sake of property, authority, position.

“Miraj was the journey to the sky in the past, today continues to our inner space, our inner world,” said Görmez and added, “Miraj is the road that connects Mecca to Jerusalem, which bonds these holy cities in the heart of all of us today. The Prophet Abraham's call for tawhid, unity, brotherhood and worship while building the Kaaba, today must turn into the resurrection, the solidarity and freedom for Aqsa in the Ummah. It must not be forgotten that the believer cannot be without the Miraj, and Miraj cannot be without Masjid al-Aqsa.” (Fırat Arslan - ILKHA)
