Due to heavy snowfall in Bitlis, citizens are digging tunnels to enter single-storey houses buried in the land. Snowfall which is effective at times, life in Bitlis has come to a halt in the whole city. Houses and cars were remained under the snow.

Especially the single-storey houses along the route of Salahaddin Eyyubi Street in Beşminare Neighborhood in the city center were completely buried under the snow. While some houses are invisible from the snow, only some of the roof fringes are visible. Some houses under the snow are in danger of collapse. The squares of the single-storey houses reflected in the object revealed the painful state of the residents.

The young people and children in the neighborhood are digging a tunnel with snow shovels to get into their homes.

Residents in Bitlis, who has been exposed to the most snow in recent years, is trying to clean up the profits that accumulate in the roofs and the fences by their own means.
