After the attack carried out with a bomb-laden vehicle in front of Izmir Courthouse Governor Erol Ayyıldız made a statement to the press members.

Stating that a police officer and a judicial officer lost their lives on the offensive, Governor Ayyıldız stated that according on the data in hand that the PKK's carried out the attack.

Ayyıldız said, "The terrorists who are in this conflict have detonated the bombed vehicle while they were fleeing. As a result, a police officer and a judicial memorandum have martyred in the attack. We wish mercy from Allah to our martyrs.”

Ayyıldız stated that after the attack another bomb-laden vehicle was found and destroyed, said, "Two terrorists were seized dead, two Kalashnikovs rifles were on their side. There were eight hand bombs beside the terrorists. We detected and destroyed another bombed vehicle."

On the other hand, it was learned that the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office continued to examine the region. (ILKHA)
