Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmuş made a statement to the members of the press in the given meantime to the Council of Ministers held in the Presidency Complex.

Kurtulmuş stating that the attack on the night club in Ortaköy is naturally different from the previous attacks, said that they wanted to send a message to Turkiye with such attacks.

Investigation into social media accounts related to the attack

Kurtulmuş said, "They are trying to drive wedge between people in Turkiye with propaganda through social media. Almost all of the nation are very experienced in this matter. Ministry of Interior launched investigation on 347 social media account in the frame of seeds of enmity among nation related to Beşiktaş attack and Ortaköy attack. Legal action was taken about 92 people.”

Kurtulmuş voicing that a new era will be launched by the Iraqi government, stated that Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım will visit Iraq.

Numan Kurtulmuş continued: "Every step that will increase the production power of the Turkish economy continues to be taken. We will continue to support with our responsibilities to our citizens of all our producers, especially to our SMEs."
