6 TIR aid collected under the campaign initiated by the Presidency of Religious Affairs and the Religious Affairs Foundation of Turkiye for the oppressed and victims in Aleppo with the slogan "Humanity shouldn’t die in Aleppo" was sent to Syria's Aleppo city.

Within the scope of the campaign "Humanity shouldn’t die in Aleppo" initiated by the Presidency of Religious Affairs, 6 TIR aid materials collected in the coordination of Diyarbakır Mufti Office were sent to Aleppo.

Diyarbakır Provincial Mufti Burhan İşliyen stated that about 300 thousand Turkish Lira aid was collected, said "Our Presidency of Religious Affairs started a charity campaign for Aleppo in a series of procedures two weeks ago. In the scope of the campaign, the highest amount of money collected in Diyarbakır so far has been collected in all our mosques. We paid this money to the relevant accounts of the Diyanet Foundation. When we received heavy demand from our people in the form of 'we would like to do the same kind of help', we responded to this demand. While Diyarbakır was trying to cover its own wounds, at the same time it is trying to cover the wounds of oppressed and innocent brothers.

İşliyen said that he noticed intensive attracted to the campaign and said, "We have tried to limit the aid with our Muftis in the direction of this demand. We wanted the benefits to be dry food, flour and blankets. Our savvy people, however, have brought a number of aids from their electrician's to their clothes. We are now loading the aid we have accumulated in 4 centers districts."

Reminding that they sent 3 TIRs to Kilis during the week, İşliyen said, "After organizing the incoming aid, we will load them to 6 trucks and send. We will deliver these trucks to Diyanet Office in Reyhanli in Cilvegözü and let them get into Aleppo. Our friends will also escort the trucks. All the public and non-governmental organizations also support."

Finally, İşliyen said, "To show that we are one body, we are brothers and sisters, we ask for your aid to be accepted in the presence of Allah Almighty. Aleppo in particular, Syria, Iraq, and where there is an oppressed geography, we hope that situations of our brothers in there to be resolved." (ILKHA)
