HUDA PAR Vice Chairman Mehmet Yavuz, came to Şanlıurfa to meet in a series of contacts, came together with the local and national press. In the meeting held in HUDA PAR Provincial Office, Yavuz evaluated the agenda.

In the evaluation of agenda, Yavuz gave important messages on the new constitution, the EU process, the conflicts in Islamic geography and the Mavi Marmara case.

Yavuz used the following expressions, "It does not matter what the system is for us. How this new system will bring solutions to the problems of the people in political, commercial, economic and cultural issues. There is a mutual agreement between AK Party and MHP. But it is what precisely this agreement is. It is hard to say at the moment because we do not know this exactly. It seems that the constitutional amendment will only be limited to preparing the back structure of the presidential system. We criticize this. Especially after the 15th of July, where new understandings emerged in a period where this nation has protected their will, even realities have revealed, it is debt of honor of politics to make a constitution which is compatible with this structure of the people and which is compatible with their religious values and which will not produce conflict."

"We blamed the Government for 3 issues"

Yavuz reminded that Islamic countries' problems in the Islamic geography are the result of wrong politics of Islamic countries, and said that they have been warning the Government many times in this regard.

Yavuz said, "We have blamed the Government three times in the matter: the first was the Syrian issue, the second was the solution process, and the third was the attitude of concessions towards FETO. We have been saying these for four years. Steps in Syria issue caused what kind of disaster, wrong steps and mentality in solution process how caused thousands of our people to be killed, how our cities were devastated, and results of attitudes toward FETO.

"EU showed its true face for the first time"

Referring to the process between Turkiye and the European Union, Yavuz said that for the first time in the 60 years of Turkiye's adventure of the EU, the EU has rescued from hypocrisy and showed its true face.

Yavuz said, "The EU has shown its true face for the first time. It has given up on acting hypocritically because it has no intention of taking Turkiye into itself. We know this both with our faith and with practice. No European country will take Turkiye and Bosnia-Herzegovina. The foundation of EU is based on three rules: the first is the ancient Greek philosophy, the second is the Roman heritage, and the third is the common values of Christianity. None fits to Turkiye. We are bound to Eastern civilization, to Islamic civilization, not bound with ancient Greek philosophy. With common values of Islamic religion, not with common values of Christianity, we are not on the legacy of Roman law, but on the legacy of Islamic law."

Yavuz said that they support Turkiye's expression 'I do not have to oblige to the EU' politically attitude.

"Getting closer to Israel means departure from the geography of Islam"

Referring to the case of Mavi Marmara, Yavuz said that the victims of the Mavi Marmara in the last trial had been left alone, and that made them deeply upset.

Yavuz said: "I wish that the treaty between Israel and Turkiye had no effect on these circles, it seems to us that this treaty is wrong from the root. Because getting closer to Israel is a departure from the geography of Islam. Whatever it happen, there should not be deal with Israel. Because Israel is the main source of the problems in the Islamic geography in the Middle East. It is a knife stuck in our heart. Forget about the treaty, there should not be any steps that could mean the legitimacy of the alliance with Israel. It is because the treaty between Turkiye and Israel, we regard it as a disaster from the point of view of the judiciary and it is in any way unacceptable. In this sense as we HUDA PAR, we expresses once again that we are with the martyrs of the Mavi Marmara and we are the people who will support them and we want to express our salutation of their resistance.” (ILKHA)
