Diyarbakır Governorship made a written statement about the blast carried out by a bomb-laden vehicle near Riot Police Branch Office.

Following expressions were used in the statement, “On 11.04.2016 Friday at 08.00 o’clock, in Bağlar district, Aydın Arslan Street in a point near Riot Police Branch Office, in a region where crowded with civilians and students, an explosion carried out by separatist terror organization with bomb-laden vehicle.”

In the statement it is said that detailed information about the blast will be given in the following hours. Recorded that wounded were taken to hospitals and treatment has started.

In the end of statement following expressions were used, “In those days which we need more unity and solidarity, it is important to our people act with common sense and rely on official statements.” (ILKHA)
