Residents of Batman show reaction against PKK’s recent bomb attacks targeting civilians in the region.

Indicating that PKK doesn’t represent Kurdish people, compatriots remark that Kurdish people suffer the most from PKK.

Condemning the recent attacks and voicing that he wants peace in the region, Selim Salman said: “what does PKK want from people by carrying out bomb attacks? We condemn their attacks. We lost tranquility in the region. It slays old-young people, women-children blindly. It doesn’t carry out these attacks to build a state for Kurds. It declares it but it is completely a lie. They will never found any state. They merely work for external powers, they have no any purpose. Kurdish people suffer the most from PKK.”

Enough is enough! PKK must be cracked down”

Saying that just like Parallel state, PKK must be cracked down, too, Yahya Koyun said: “we know that any PKK attack has never been on behalf of Kurds, but they always have some other accounts. As a Kurd, I call on PKK: don’t implement your actions on behalf of Kurds but reveal your real identity. We say ‘Edi Bese’ (that’s enough in Kurdish). I also call on government: just like you have done to parallel state, you must crack down on PKK, too. We want to have a regular life; go to our work in peace and return our homes in peace. That’s enough. We, Kurds, don’t have such a cause.”

“PKK doesn’t represent us; they do not have Kurdish issue”

Stating that Kurds have never had a cause some like aiming to kill children, Koyun said as his last words;

“Kurds cannot have dirty causes. I don’t think PKK has a cause considering Kurds. They have some other intentions. Muslim Kurds should withdraw their support from them. PKK and HDP need to clarify their real lines. PKK doesn’t our representative or our spokesperson. Islam is what represents us in real, we are children of Islam. We are Muslims.”

 “These attacks serve global imperialism”

Underlining that PKK’s recent attacks taking place in residential areas do not have any point to be accepted, Muhammed Şerif Durmaz said: “This kind of attacks draw people’s hatred. There is nothing PKK has earned for people so far. These attacks clearly serve global imperialism. Kurdish people have been suffering from PKK’s massacres and assaults for more than 30 years. Kurds want peace and tranquility. Everyone, every individual and every sect who care for people’s future must take initiative for people’s peace and tranquility. In yesterday’s attack, civilians lost their lives again. People don’t want to be subjected to massacres anymore.”

“If needed we will take streets and raise our voice against PKK”

Pointing out that PKK’s attacks harm Kurds the most, Mehmet Emin Oğuz said:

“These attacks are wrong. Kurdish people constantly suffer from these attacks. It must be known by everyone well that they have no any Kurdish question. We censure those who support PKK, too and we condemn PKK’s all attacks. We are against these attacks and if it is needed we will take streets and raise our voice against PKK. For nearly 40, Kurdish people have got hurt and now society wants peace.”

Saying that PKK works for external powers but not for Kurds, Abdulhakim Ayana said: “These attacks are being carried out on behalf of external powers but not on behalf of Kurds. As Muslim Kurds, we want to live on these soils fraternally, yet what they are doing now is just nastiness and traitorousness. PKK doesn’t represent Kurds. They present the external powers. So it is the time for solidarity and unity. We have to say ‘stop’ against them. We can defeat them in unity and solidarity.” (ILKHA)
