HUDA PAR (Free Cause Party) Diyarbakir Provincial Chairman released a statement on behalf of the party, regarding the civilians that were killed in the explosion of the explosive-laden vehicle that was trapped in Durumlu located in Sur, Diyarbakir.

The explosion was described as pure violence, “Firstly, we ask for mercy from Allah for the villagers that have lost their lives in this inhuman incident. We hope for a quick recovery for those wounded and hope for patience for their families. Finally, the brutality of the explosion is the most obvious way that reveals the pit of politics which is imposed on the people.”

The statement highlighted that Kurdish people should not be perpetuated to suffering more, “This violence cannot be explained by no manner of means. No matter what the purpose of this act was, it only resulted in punishing the Kurdish people, increasing their pain and victimisation.
