Israeli airstrikes kill at least 13 Palestinians in Gaza
At least 13 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured in two separate Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip in the early hours of Thursday, according to the Gaza health ministry.
In Jabalia, northern Gaza, an airstrike targeted a Palestinian home, killing eight people and leaving several others injured. A separate strike on Gaza’s municipality park resulted in the deaths of five Palestinians and injured approximately 20 more.
The escalating violence has placed immense pressure on Gaza’s already strained healthcare system. Local authorities have issued an urgent warning about the critical fuel shortages threatening the operations of major hospitals, including Al Aqsa, Nasser, and the European Hospital.
Humanitarian organizations and local officials have called for immediate intervention to prevent further loss of life, as the region grapples with ongoing hostilities and a worsening humanitarian crisis. (ILKHA)
