The protesters, who gathered in Democracy Square, called for an immediate end to the war and a ceasefire to bring home the captives still held by Hamas.

The protest began with speeches by representatives of the march and a minute of silence to honor the victims of the conflict. The demonstrators then marched to the HaKirya military base, demanding a change in the government's approach to the situation in Gaza.

The Gaza Health Ministry reported on Saturday that at least 45,484 Palestinians have been killed and 108,090 wounded in Israel's military offensive on Gaza since October 7, 2023. The relentless bombardment and blockade have exacerbated the humanitarian crisis, leaving thousands of families displaced and struggling to survive.

Protesters voiced their opposition to the Israeli government's actions, highlighting the devastating impact on Palestinian civilians and calling for an immediate ceasefire. They emphasized the need to bring an end to the violence and ensure the safe return of captives, while also advocating for a peaceful resolution to the conflict. (ILKHA)
