This development was announced following a meeting between Öcalan and DEM Party MPs Pervin Buldan and Sırrı Süreyya Önder in İmralı on Saturday.

In a statement issued after the meeting, the MPs reported that Öcalan's health is good and his morale is high. The meeting included an assessment of recent developments in the Middle East and Türkiye, during which Öcalan presented positive solution proposals to counter the dark future scenarios being imposed.

Öcalan emphasized that strengthening the Turkish-Kurdish brotherhood is a historic responsibility and a matter of critical urgency for all peoples.

He called for all political groups in Türkiye to take initiative, act constructively, and contribute positively, with the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) being a key platform for these contributions.

Öcalan highlighted that the resolution of the Kurdish issue can no longer be delayed, especially in light of events in Gaza and Syria. He stressed the importance of contributions from the opposition to achieve a solution.

Öcalan expressed his competence and determination to provide positive contributions to the new paradigm supported by MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

He stated that the delegation would share his perspective with both the state and political circles and that he is ready to take necessary positive steps and issue a call.

Öcalan believes that these efforts will elevate the country and serve as a valuable guide for democratic transformation, emphasizing the need for peace, democracy, and brotherhood for Türkiye and the region.
