Turkish Foreign Ministry condemns Israel's attacks on Lebanon
The Turkish Foreign Ministry issued a strong statement on Monday, condemning Israel's ongoing attacks on Lebanon, warning that the situation marks a new phase in efforts to destabilize the region.
"Israel's attacks on Lebanon represent a calculated move to drag the entire region into chaos," the ministry's press release stated. The ministry also criticized countries that provide unconditional support to Israel, accusing them of enabling Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to pursue "bloodshed for political interests."
Türkiye's statement called for urgent international intervention, stressing that "all institutions responsible for maintaining international peace and security, especially the United Nations Security Council, as well as the global community, must take immediate action to prevent further escalation."
