Hundreds of participants gathered after the afternoon prayer at the Grand Mosque. Starting from Orhangazi Park with banners in hand, they followed a route along İnönü Street and Cumhuriyet Street, ending their march at July 15 (Şehreküstü) Square, chanting slogans throughout.

At July 15 Square, Hamza Velioğlu delivered a press statement on behalf of the gathering, denouncing the Israeli occupation regime's actions and calling for solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Velioğlu emphasized the nearly century-long systematic occupation and massacres by the Zionist regime against Palestinians. "The occupying Zionists, aiming for total genocide, expand their occupation daily, desecrate our first Qibla, Al-Aqsa Mosque, with their boots, and challenge the entire Islamic world with their unjust and unlawful actions," he said. Velioğlu urged Muslims to support their Palestinian brothers and sisters with economic, military, and moral solidarity, stating that the Palestinian resistance is a defense of the honor and dignity of all Islamic countries.

Velioğlu criticized the US Congress for applauding Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, calling it evidence of complicity in the massacres. He urged the Turkish government to allow HAMAS spokesperson Ismail Haniyeh to speak in the Turkish Grand National Assembly and demanded that Turkish citizens complicit in the Palestinian genocide be stripped of their citizenship, have their assets confiscated, and face legal proceedings.

Addressing the crowd, Velioğlu called for a boycott of Israeli goods and those of Israeli supporters, stressing the importance of economic actions in challenging the Israeli regime.

Following a prayer led by Ebubekir Arslan, the participants moved to a signature stand to support HÜDA PAR's law proposal regarding the perpetrators of genocide, signing the petition in a show of solidarity. (ILKHA)
