A major wildfire broke out on Wednesday afternoon in the forested area of Agios Vlasis, near Sofiko, Corinth, in the Peloponnese region. The blaze is rapidly spreading through dense pine forest and is posing a significant challenge to firefighting efforts.

Authorities have issued an emergency warning to residents of Sofiko and closed the road leading to Epidaurus. Three firefighters have sustained minor injuries. (ILKHA)
