President Erdoğan returns to Istanbul after EURO 2024 quarter-final match
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan returned to Istanbul from Berlin, where he attended the quarter-final match of the European Football Championship 2024 (EURO 2024) between the Turkish National Football Team and the Netherlands.
Türkiye's journey in the tournament concluded with a 2-1 loss to the Netherlands at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. Following the match, President Erdoğan traveled back to Istanbul.
Upon his arrival at Atatürk Airport, President Erdoğan was welcomed by Istanbul Governor Davut Gül, AK Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Osman Nuri Kabaktepe, and other officials. (ILKHA)
