The rally, held at the Yenihal Bridge Junction in the central Kayapınar district, featured speeches emphasizing the significance of steadfastness in the face of adversity and the importance of unity among Muslims.

Dr. Sertaç Tekdal, speaking at the event, underscored the importance of sacrifice and resilience in the struggle for justice. He began his speech by wishing that the Hijri New Year, which would commence this evening, brings new victories for Gaza. Tekdal drew parallels between Gaza’s current situation and historical Islamic events, emphasizing that just as Madinah would not have been built without sacrifices, Gaza’s current struggles are a testament to the highest levels of sacrifice.

He expressed hope that Gaza would not become the Karbala of the age but rather the Medina of the age, symbolizing faith, submission, and humanity. Tekdal lauded Gaza’s resilience and its ability to reveal the true nature of Western civilization, which he described as hypocritical and crumbling under the weight of its own actions.

"Gaza, like the Medina of Rasul, will always be standing upright and will continue to struggle," he said. He reminded the audience that Gaza, despite decades of besiegement and struggles, has never compromised its resistance and freedom. Tekdal compared Gaza's struggle to the victory of Badr and stated that despite experiencing setbacks akin to the battles of Uhud and Trench, Gaza has continued its resistance and will prevail.

Tekdal criticized the complacency within the Muslim ummah, urging them to remember the sacrifices being made in Gaza and to support the resistance actively. "In the words of Aliya Izzetbegovic, those who are ready for death will prevail over those who are not ready for death," he stated, emphasizing that victory will belong to those who are willing to sacrifice. He condemned those within the ummah who prioritize their comfort and luxury over supporting the resistance.

Süleyman Börü, reading a press statement on behalf of the Foundation, condemned the ongoing Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023. He highlighted the severe impact on Palestinian civilians, noting that many are killed daily, including women and children, and many others are left to die under the rubble of their homes or from starvation.

Börü emphasized that the Zionist regime's ambitions extend beyond Gaza, with plans for further occupation in Lebanon and Syria. He warned against the imperialist schemes aiming to sow discord among Muslims, drawing Turkey into conflicts and creating chaos in the region.

"We look forward to the Fajr Forces hitting the Zionist regime together with Hezbollah," Börü said, underscoring the importance of regional solidarity and collective resistance.

Börü called for increased support for resistance movements both within and outside Palestine, including Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Yemeni Ansarullah Movement. He stressed that these groups, engaged in direct conflict with the Zionist regime and the US-led coalition, need political, economic, and military backing.

He also warned against the foci of sedition that aim to weaken Muslims by fueling sectarianism, urging the Muslim ummah to reject these divisive tactics.

Börü emphasized the need for unity around Al-Aqsa Mosque and the cause of Jerusalem, stressing that the struggle in Gaza is a clear battle between right and wrong, faith and disbelief. "There is no grey area in this war," he said, urging Muslims to avoid neutrality and silence. He called for a united front, putting aside racial and sectarian differences, and embracing the common cause for the liberation of Palestine.

The rally in Diyarbakır by the Prophet Lovers Foundation highlighted the ongoing struggle in Gaza and called for unity and active support for the resistance. Speakers emphasized the historical and religious significance of the resistance, urging the Muslim ummah to stand firm and support the fight against oppression. The event underscored the importance of solidarity and collective action in the face of adversity, reaffirming the commitment to the Palestinian cause and the broader struggle for justice in the region.
