Mujahid highlighted the meeting's significance for Afghanistan, emphasizing that it provided a platform to convey the country's challenges and needs to the international community.

During the briefing, Mujahid stressed the separation of humanitarian issues from politics, underscoring their direct impact on Afghan daily life. Responding to questions, he assured that Afghanistan would not be allowed to become a battleground for international political rivalries. Instead, the focus remains on serving as a bridge and economic corridor between nations.

Mujahid also mentioned the Islamic Emirate's call for the release of Afghanistan's frozen funds, which garnered strong support from participants including Russia, China, Iran, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan at the Doha meeting. He expressed optimism that commitments made during the discussions would be honored by the international community, noting ongoing improvements in relations between the Islamic Emirate and global entities.

Highlighting additional engagements, Mujahid mentioned approximately 24 side meetings held during the Doha event with representatives from various countries. These meetings underscored a shared interest in expanding positive and mutually beneficial relations with Afghanistan.

The Doha meeting, convened by the United Nations and led by the Islamic Emirate's delegation, marks a significant diplomatic effort to engage with Afghanistan's new leadership on global issues. (ILKHA)
