Speaking at a press conference at the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Dinç addressed both domestic and international issues, including the problem of stray dogs in Turkey, the hunger crisis in Sudan, and the Israeli attacks on Gaza and threats to Lebanon.

Dinç criticized the incidents in Kayseri, sparked by allegations that a Syrian national harassed a 7-year-old child, leading to widespread violence against Syrian refugees in the area. He also noted retaliatory attacks on Turkish trucks and vehicles in Syria, condemning both sets of incidents as "outrageous and unacceptable."

"The events in Kayseri have once again revealed how the hate speech fueled against refugees has turned into a great atrocity," Dinç stated. He emphasized that those who legitimize hate speech against refugees are damaging the conscience and sense of justice in society. Dinç pointed out that the political and media rhetoric against refugees has led to these violent acts, where refugees' homes, workplaces, and vehicles were attacked.

Dinç called on the government and judicial authorities to bring the perpetrators and instigators of these attacks to justice promptly. "Ensuring the safety of life and property of refugees is one of the most important responsibilities of the government," he said, urging common sense and restraint from the public to avoid further provocations.

Dinç concluded by stressing the need for societal unity and justice, calling for an end to hate speech and violence against refugees. (ILKHA)
