The team visited the slaughtering site to ensure that the sacrifices adhere to Islamic standards.

Hope Caravan Foundation officials reported that all necessary preparations have been completed for the Eid al-Adha sacrifices. They visited Sololo town in Marsabit, one of Kenya's poorest regions, to inspect the animals purchased on behalf of benefactors.

These preparations include securing the livestock, verifying their health and compliance with Islamic procedures, arranging butchers, and preparing identification cards with the names of those who donated.

Mehmet Ali Aysu, a representative of Hope Caravan, shared a video detailing their efforts and the journey to Marsabit, located 6,442 kilometers from Türkiye and 1,250 kilometers from Kenya's capital.

"As in every Eid, Hope Caravan aims to reach the poor, the oppressed, and orphans wherever they are. The region we are in now is marked by extreme poverty and hardship," Aysu stated.

Aysu described the challenging 12-hour journey to Sololo and emphasized the importance of their mission. "These are places where most people cannot come due to the difficult conditions. To show our solidarity with our Muslim brothers and sisters here, we will slaughter the sacrifices as per the proxies given to us for Eid al-Adha," he said.

The cattle, visible in the video, were bought with donations from benefactors and will be slaughtered according to Islamic rites.

Aysu expressed gratitude to the benefactors and assured them of the foundation's commitment to proper practices. "In two days, we will slaughter these animals following the Islamic procedures. We assure all benefactors that their proxies are in safe hands with Hope Caravan," he concluded.

The Hope Caravan Foundation's efforts in Kenya exemplify their dedication to supporting impoverished communities during significant religious occasions. By ensuring that the sacrifices meet Islamic standards, they uphold the values and traditions of Eid al-Adha while providing much-needed support to those in need.

The video shared by the foundation shows the preparations and the cattle purchased for the sacrifices, highlighting the foundation's transparency and the direct impact of the donations received. (ILKHA)
