Hamas Chief Ismail Haniyeh meets Islamic Jihad Leader in Doha to discuss resistance unity
Hamas Chief Ismail Haniyeh met with Islamic Jihad Secretary General Ziad Nakhale on Monday to emphasize the unity of Palestinian resistance groups in the face of ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza.
According to a statement on the Hamas website, Nakhale, accompanied by his deputy Mohammad Al-Hindi, visited Haniyeh in the Qatari capital. The leaders stressed the importance of unity among Palestinian resistance factions both politically and militarily. They also praised the support from resistance fronts in Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq.
Haniyeh and Nakhale lauded the steadfastness of the Palestinian people despite the severe massacres committed by Israeli forces. The meeting also covered the latest developments in negotiations aimed at reaching a ceasefire deal in Gaza. (ILKHA)
