Hamas launches rocket attack on central Israel in response to Gaza genocide
In response to ongoing Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip, Hamas' military wing, Al-Qassam Brigades, launched a significant rocket assault on Tel Aviv on Sunday.
Footage broadcasted by Al-Jazeera depicted a barrage of rockets being fired from Gaza toward Israel.
Israeli media reported that warning sirens blared in more than 50 Israeli cities and towns, including Tel Aviv, Petah Tikva, and Hod Hasharon. Herzliya City suffered casualties and material damage.
The Israeli military claimed to have intercepted at least 10 rockets after sounding the sirens in Tel Aviv.
Al-Qassam Brigades issued a statement asserting that their fighters targeted Israeli tanks, armored bulldozers, and troop carriers in Jabalia refugee camp, northern Gaza. They used "Yassin 105" and "Tandem" projectiles and "Shuwad" explosive devices in the attacks. Additionally, an Israeli tank in Beit Lahia was hit with a Yassin 105 projectile.
Al-Qassam fighters also launched heavy-caliber mortar shells at Israeli forces in the al-Qasasib neighborhood of Jabalia camp. (ILKHA)
