The assault reportedly resulted in the deaths of as many as seven Israeli forces across different locations in Gaza Strip.

The armed wing of Hamas, known as the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, disclosed the information in a statement reported by Qatar’s Al Jazeera television network on Friday.

The attack on the command center involved the use of a drone, which released two anti-personnel rockets targeting the facility located east of the city of Beit Hanoun.

Additionally, the Brigades reported the killing of an Israeli officer in another area near the city. Separately, fighters in southern Gaza launched an attack resulting in the deaths of six Israeli soldiers who were inside a house north of Khan Younis.

These developments occurred amid an ongoing Israeli war against Gaza, which commenced following the al-Aqsa Storm, a surprise offensive by Palestinian resistance movements against occupied territories.

According to reports, approximately 600 Israeli troops have been killed during resistance operations defending Gaza. The war has claimed the lives of more than 30,800 Palestinians, predominantly women and children.

Recent reports from Ynetnews, the website for Israeli daily Yediot Ahronot, highlighted critical manpower shortages in the regime’s military, with an urgent need for an additional 7,000 soldiers, half of whom are intended for combat roles. The Israeli military is reportedly facing unprecedented challenges due to the prolonged conflict.

Yoav Gallant, the Israeli minister of military affairs, acknowledged the heavy toll the ongoing Gaza war is exacting on the regime’s army. He emphasized the high number of casualties and injuries incurred, calling for the drafting of ultra-Orthodox Jews to address the manpower shortages. (ILKHA)
