With the amendment of the regulation made by the Ministry of Science, Industry, and Technology, the car window film and tint were again forbidden in vehicles. In Gaziantep, the drivers are avoiding traffic penalties after the decision.
Auto accessories shopkeepers in Gaziantep said that the prohibition of car window film has victimized them, also cannot sell products they had ordered before. Drivers also were in complaining about the cost they had paid and the traffic fines.
Hüseyin Taşçıoğlu, an accessories shopkeepers for long years in Gaziantep stated that this ban has victimized shopkeepers who are selling car window films.
The auto accessor Salman Ok said, "Citizens are not satisfied with this situation. Because there are both people who installed car window film for their need and people who installed for the pleasure. Those who installed window film for their needs are not satisfied with the situation."
Salih Bozoğlu, who came to the automotive industry to take the car window films off of his car, said, "This prohibition was not good at all. People have been victimized." (İbrahim Koçyiğit - ILKHA)
