Istanbul mosque attack: Imam and worshipper injured in knife assault

The attack occurred at around 7:15 pm local time and was carried out by a suspect identified as O.S.

Both victims were hospitalized, with their lives not in immediate danger.

The imam received a knife wound to the chest area, while the student worshipper was stabbed in the back.

The motive behind the assault is still unknown, and authorities are investigating the incident. (ILKHA)
