An Iraqi Resistance group swiftly claimed responsibility, citing the use of two unmanned aerial vehicles in the assault.

Following the recent loss of key Resistance leaders in the anti-terrorism campaign in Iraq and Syria, the Iraqi parliament passed legislation demanding the withdrawal of American troops from the country. Despite this, US forces have yet to comply with the directive.

Simultaneously, local sources in Syria revealed that the Conoco gas field, housing a US base, was struck by two missiles. Additionally, a base in Syria's al-Omar oil field, part of a US-led coalition, was also reportedly attacked.

These attacks occur amidst escalating tensions attributed to US support for the Israeli regime during the Gaza conflict. Resistance groups have ramped up targeting American military positions in recent days, further fueling regional unrest. (ILKHA)
