Amir-Abdollahian dismissed assertions that Iran directed groups in Syria and Iraq to target US forces, stating it was Washington, not Tehran, fostering violence in the region.

"The US is advising others to show self-restraint, but it has sided with Israel totally," Amir-Abdollahian emphasized.

He cautioned that if the current situation persists and the killing of civilians in Gaza continues, the region could spiral out of control. "The American side should decide - does it really want to escalate, intensify the war?" he questioned.

Amir-Abdollahian clarified that the groups targeting US forces in Syria and Iraq are acting independently and have not been directed by Tehran. "They're not receiving any orders from us, any instructions," he affirmed.

Concerning the prospect of a ground invasion, Amir-Abdollahian warned of grave consequences for Israel. He highlighted Israel's recent escalation of attacks and its intentions to expand ground operations, cautioning that this could lead to the opening of new fronts against Israel, thereby changing the situation dramatically.

He stressed the escalating tensions, stating: "This has reached the point of explosion. Anything is possible and any front can be opened up."

The warning from Iran's Foreign Minister comes amidst heightened tensions in the region due to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine and the increasing involvement of the United States in supporting Israel. (ILKHA)
