In the Silwan neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem, forces shot and critically injured Abed Amer al-Zaghal, 15, while he was walking in the neighborhood, according to witnesses. The boy was hit in the head and was rushed to hospital where he was reported in critical condition.

In Shufat refugee camp, northeast of Jerusalem, zionist forces opened fire at a car seriously injuring one and arresting the other. The forces claimed the car refused orders to stop and therefore fire was opened at it.

One person, in his 20s, was seriously injured and taken to hospital, and the second was detained, according to local sources. The two were residents of nearby Hizma town.

The shootings come amid a recent escalation of violence in the occupied Palestinian territory. In the past month, zionist forces have killed at least 10 Palestinians, including several children.

The Palestinian Authority condemned the shootings and called for an international investigation. The PA also called on the international community to pressure the zionist entity to end its occupation of the Palestinian territory. (ILKHA)
