TPAO proudly shared this significant achievement on the social media platform "X," formerly known as Twitter, stating: “With the new wells we drilled in Şehit Esma Çevik and Şehit Aybüke Yalçın fields, we reached 16,188 barrels of oil production per day in Şırnak Gabar Region, breaking the highest domestic daily production record in Türkiye's history. We are proudly moving step by step towards our goal of an Energy Independent Türkiye.”

This outstanding increase in oil production highlights Türkiye's growing prowess in the global energy arena and underscores its strong commitment to achieving energy self-sufficiency. The nation's relentless efforts have positioned Türkiye as a major player in the energy sector and have set a promising path towards bolstering its energy security and reducing dependence on external sources.

Moreover, Türkiye's dedication to enhancing domestic oil production and exploring new wells showcases its determination to capitalize on its abundant energy reserves and contribute significantly to the ever-evolving global energy landscape.

As a consequence of this achievement, Türkiye now holds a competitive edge in the region and opens up new potential opportunities for economic growth and development. Furthermore, this accomplishment elevates Türkiye's standing on the international stage, solidifying its position as an emerging player in the global energy market.
