Muttaqi condemned these sanctions as “cruel” and called on the international community to reconsider their approach.

In his address, Muttaqi urged countries to listen and understand the situation faced by Afghan migrants, emphasizing that their cases should not be used as a pretext to impose further harm on Afghanistan.

He appealed to foreign nations not to evacuate Afghan academic figures or damage the country's intellectual resources.

The acting Foreign Minister emphasized that Afghanistan is the homeland for all Afghans, regardless of their political affiliations or opinions about the government. He asserted that everyone has the right to live in the country, invest in businesses, and lead dignified lives.

The bodies of the 18 Afghan refugees who tragically lost their lives in Bulgaria were repatriated to Afghanistan on Tuesday, marking a solemn moment for their grieving families and the nation as a whole. (ILKHA)
