Local sources said that police forces assaulted young activists and local youths and children as they were participating in the painting of a mural in solidarity with Sheikh Jarrah residents, who are threatened with displacement from their homes.

They added that police officers kidnaped one of the young men called Iyad Abu Sneineh during his participation in the activity.

Meanwhile, police forces stormed the sit-in tent in Batn al-Hawa neighborhood in the east Jerusalem district of Silwan and assaulted local residents and activists inside it.
