5 policemen killed, 7 others wounded in Afghanistan

According to the provincial police spokesman Jamal Barikzai, 3 attackers who obviously served as Taliban’s infiltrators within the police rank carried out the attack the crime at around 2:30 a.m. local time, killing 5 police and wounding 7 others.

2 attackers were killed in the firefight and the third one escaped, Barikzai said.

The wounded policemen were taken to hospital.

No group has so far claimed responsibility ​for the attack. (ILKHA)
