Addressing the esteemed members of the General Assembly, Yapıcıoğlu began by reflecting on the historic significance of the Assembly's establishment amidst foreign occupation. He emphasized the courage and determination of the country's founders, declaring: "This Assembly is the embodiment of our nation's resilience and determination to safeguard its independence."

Yapıcıoğlu drew parallels between past struggles and present challenges, urging lawmakers to uphold the principles of national sovereignty and reject external interference. "We must remain steadfast in defending our sovereignty and rejecting any form of foreign influence," he asserted.

Turning his attention to contemporary issues, Yapıcıoğlu highlighted the importance of embracing Türkiye's cultural diversity. "Our strength lies in our unity, which transcends ethnic and cultural differences," he proclaimed. "We must embrace our diversity as a source of strength and resilience."

“Faith brought this nation together for the same goal; Turks, Kurds, Arabs, Circassians and Lazis fought shoulder to shoulder.” He also noted the significant role of women who mobilized their children for the defense of the homeland and carried bullets to the fronts.

Yapıcıoğlu warned of a postmodern invasion the world is facing today. He urged for unity, stating, “We should leave aside the classifications dating back to the French Revolution in 1789 and re-establish our unity.” He also reminded the assembly of the genocide in Gaza and the historical event in 1917 when the enemy, who could not be stopped in Gaza and Jerusalem, came to Adana.

Emphasizing the need for a new constitution that reflects the aspirations of all citizens, Yapıcıoğlu called for inclusive dialogue and collaboration. "We must work together to draft a constitution that upholds the rights and freedoms of all individuals," he declared.

In conclusion, Yapıcıoğlu reiterated his faith in the Turkish people's ability to overcome challenges and build a prosperous future. "With unity and determination, we can overcome any obstacle and fulfill the promise of our nation's founding principles," he concluded, to resounding applause from the Assembly. (ILKHA)
