The manufacturing sector, a key driver of Türkiye's economy, saw a robust 2.1% increase compared to December 2022. This suggests continued strength in this crucial segment.

The electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply sector experienced the most significant growth, climbing 4.5% year-on-year. This indicates continued development and investments in energy infrastructure.

Looking at month-to-month changes, industrial production grew by 2.4% in December. Manufacturing again led the way with a 2.9% increase, while mining and quarrying saw a smaller decline of 0.7%. The energy sector experienced a slight dip of 0.1%.
