20 dead in Ukraine attack on bakery in Russia-occupied Luhansk
20 people were killed in an attack on a bakery in the Russian-occupied city of Lysychansk, eastern Ukraine, according to Russian emergency services.
The ministry shared distressing video footage of emergency workers rescuing two bloodied individuals from the rubble.
The ministry reported that its workers had retrieved 20 bodies and rescued 10 people, handing them over to medical professionals.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova accused Ukraine of using Western weapons in the attack, and the Russian-controlled Luhansk Information Centre claimed the shelling was conducted with U.S.-supplied High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS).
Ukrainian officials have not yet issued a statement on the incident. (ILKHA)
