Earthquake with magnitude 4.3 hits Hakkari province in southeastern Türkiye
A 4.3 magnitude earthquake struck the Yüksekova district of Hakkari province in southeastern Türkiye on Saturday morning, according to the country's Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD).
The earthquake occurred around 06:09 local time, with its epicenter at a latitude of 37.33 degrees north and a longitude of 43.97917 degrees east, at a depth of 7 km.
The last major earthquake in Türkiye occurred in February 2023, with a magnitude of 7.8, causing widespread devastation in the southern provinces. (ILKHA)
