Orphans Foundation provides support to Yemen's vulnerable orphans
The Orphans Foundation, an international charity, has distributed financial aid to orphans in Yemen as part of its 'Orphan Salary' project.
The initiative aims to support children who have lost their parents as a result of the ongoing war and humanitarian crisis in the country.
The Orphans Foundation, known for its relief work in areas such as Gaza, Afghanistan, Africa and among the Rohingya Muslims in Bangladesh, is now extending its support to orphaned children in Yemen.
As Yemen has been targeted by Western countries for its support of the resistance in Gaza, the Orphans Foundation is responding to the needs of orphans in this troubled region. The first distribution of cash assistance under the "Orphan Salary" relief mobilisation took place in early January.
Over 100 orphans, beneficiaries of this initiative, expressed their gratitude to the Orphans Foundation for its role in ensuring their well-being. They wished the donors happiness in this world and the next.
The Foundation emphasised the importance of helping orphans and quoted a hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) highlighting the virtues of caring for such children.
The foundation also praised the donors who contributed to the project, invoking blessings and rewards for their compassion and for alleviating the suffering of the families. (ILKHA)
